Our bodies are constantly having to defend themselves against toxins. These toxins are everywhere. They are in the foods we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, the skin care products we use, the soil we walk on, and even in our cleaning supplies. We can stay away from toxins by living in a bubble. Since this is not possible, the next best thing is detoxification. Fasting allows the body to free itself from toxins and start anew. Fasting is great for people who want to cleanse their bodies and make a new, healthy start.
What is fasting?

What does Fasting do to your body?
Fasting can help clean out the liver, kidneys, stomach, and intestines. It promotes weight loss by causing the body to switch from glucose to stored fat for its energy needs. Fasting forces the body to slow down, and gives the body a chance to get rid of all of the toxins it has accumulated. When you are able to reset your body by fasting, you basically give your body an entirely new start. Fasting gives your stomach the time that it needs to recover.
There are plenty of foods that can block up the digestive system and leave you feeling bloated and constipated. When you fast, you clear the toxins and wastes out of the colon. Fasting gives the colon a chance to rest and heal. You will be amazed at the difference in the way you feel.
Toxins have a negative effect on the kidneys. When the kidneys are affected by toxins you may develop lower back pain, or feel tired and sluggish. Fasting allows the kidneys to rest and reset.
Fasting can be great for the liver. When your body isn’t being bombarded with ingested toxins such as chicken treated with hormones the liver gets a chance to process all of the harmful chemicals it has been continually exposed to, rest, and reset.
